What is "Open Studio"?
People come prepared for a creative experience! Beth or Carmen is available to assist you as needed but there is not a preset class activity - each person works on their own individual project.
What do I bring?
No need to bring anything other than ideas or a photo you may have. We also have lots of ideas, books and samples to get you started. Some people bring a tabletop, tray, lamp or other piece they would like to add mosaic to.
How much does it cost?
Each studio visit is only $10 - a great value for a guided art experience.
Some projects take more than one visit unless you make a small mosaic. If you would like us to grout your mosaic for you, we can do it for a $10 finishing fee.
What is it like?
Fun! You can bring a friend and a bottle of wine or something to eat and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of creativity and companionship. We always have plenty of options that suit beginners to advanced artists.
Who can come?
Adults or children accompanied by an adult. Please call for activities for children under 8.
Can we work on a project together?
Yes! Sometimes a parent and child, a couple on a date or friends want to make a project together. Because of our incredibly low profit margin - given that supplies are included - each person working pays the same $10 studio fee even if working on the same project.
